Tricentris

Founded in 1997, Tricentris is a sorting and recycling facility located in Lachute. Serving more than 200 municipalities, the centre processes 200,000 tons of recyclable materials annually. Since opening its doors, no less than 4.5 million tons of recyclables have been processed and diverted from the landfill. In 2013, a glass micronization plant was added to its installations to commercialize VERROX, a new technology for processing and reusing recycled glass.

Régie intermunicipale Argenteuil Deux-Montagnes

The Régie intermunicipale Argenteuil Deux-Montagnes (RIADM) is an intermunicipal waste disposal organization made up of four municipalities: Lachute, Brownsburg-Chatham, Saint-André-d’Argenteuil and Saint-Placide. The RIADM is responsible for the collection of different types of waste (garbage, recyclables and organics) across its member municipalities. It also owns waste processing facilities including

MRC D’ARGENTEUIL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT

This organization offers several services for businesses. With its five industrial parks, the MRC d’Argenteuil is a strategic industrial hub for the region. The new Synercité project is a collaborative site in Lachute based on an industrial symbiosis approach. With this concept, the output of the Tricentris waste sorting/processing facility becomes the raw materials for the other industries within the industrial park.
